šŸŒ„ Day 1: Settle In & Stretch Your Legs

Morning: Arrive in Three RiversĀ and grab lunch at Sierra Subs & SaladsĀ or a sweet treat from Sequoia Coffee Co.Ā or Three Rivers Yogurt & Treats. Since check-in at GandA Properties is at 4 PM, take a short trip to the Foothills Visitor CenterĀ to pick up your child’s free Junior Ranger booklet.

Afternoon (after check-in): Settle into your cozy vacation rental—just 4 miles from the park entrance—then head out for a gentle walk on the Big Trees Trail. This stroller-friendly loop is perfect for little legs and offers your first look at the park’s famous giants.

Dinner:Head back to town for a laid-back dinner at Sierra SubsĀ or order pizza from the always-kid-approved Pizza Factory.

🌿 Day 2: Explore the Giant Forest

Morning: After breakfast at your rental, drive into the Giant ForestĀ and visit the General Sherman Tree, the largest tree on Earth by volume! The paved trail is short and manageable for little ones—bring a stroller or hold hands and take your time.

Afternoon: Picnic at Beetle Rock, a wide granite slab perfect for safe exploring and soaking in the views. Then, head to Crescent MeadowĀ for a flat, scenic trail filled with wildflowers, deer sightings, and gentle shade.

Dinner: Dine in town or have a quiet night at the rental. After dinner, enjoy a cozy family movie, a bedtime story, or some stargazing under Sequoia’s famously dark skies.
